This
EU co-funded project aims at creating a long-term transnational network
of cooperation among the participating cities and municipalities on the
basis of the fact that new needs emerging in the health and welfare sector
call for actions in:
- raising the standards of education
- finding cost-efficient and coherent methods that satisfy the future needs
of the labour market
- specifying quality criteria that meets the needs of the customers
- providing opportunities for continuing training of those already working
- recognising professional skills acquired in life long learning
- improving the quality of the services offered
- creating the basis for permanent collaboration among the benificiaries
of the project
The objectives of the project are to:
• Explore more suitible relations between labour market and education by
exchanging knowledge and experience
• Create innovative ways of cooperation between labour market and educational
sector
• Create a transnational management group in this field

The fifth event of the project will be taking place in Unione Terre Verdiane (Italy) in April 2012.
The fourth event of the project took place in Guldborgsund (Denmark) in December 2011.
